Is there anything more cheerful than a vase full of sunflowers?

This painting brings me back to my flower garden at our last house, "The Garden House", where I grew stands of these beautiful pale beauties the summer my daughter was born. When I was overwhelmed and limited on time, these easy to grow, maintenance free cuties adorned our dining room table for months. No deadheading, no pests, just a simple harvest away from ten days of glowing charm on my dining room table. 

No farmhouse is complete without them!
